Tideborn Command

Tideborn Command asks you to run a fleet across a stormy archipelago, balancing fuel, morale, and the enemy's movements. It's slower and more thoughtful than most mobile strategy, and it respects your intelligence. Battles play out on a hex grid you can pinch and pan with ease.

What impressed me is how readable it stays despite the depth. Tooltips are clear, and you can pause to think without losing your place. The weather system genuinely changes tactics; a storm can wreck a confident advance, so scouting pays off.

Sessions run long, so this is more of a lean-back-at-home game than a quick-tap commute game. Battery drain is noticeable during big battles, so keep a charger nearby if you binge.
